Walton made Bangladesh prideful and now turned into the country’s national asset, said Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s ODI Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
After securing the leading position in the domestic electronics market, Walton is now exporting huge volume of electronics and electrical appliances to different countries of the world,” added Mashrafe, also a Parliament Member.
The Bangladesh Cricket Team’s ODI captain and also Walton’s brand ambassador made the remarks after visiting Walton factory at Chandra in Gazipur on Monday (November 25, 2019).

Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited’s (WHIL) Chairman S M Nurul Alam Rezvi welcomed Mashrafe Bin Mortaza after reaching Walton factory on Monday afternoon.
During that time, Walton Group’s Executive Directors Engineer Golam Murshed, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Walton’s Refrigerator Department, Uday Hakim, Alamgir Alam Sarker, Yusuf Ali and Amin Khan, Deputy Executive Director Md. Firoj Alam, Operative Director Robiul Alam Bhuiyan, Deputy Operative Director Mofizur Rahaman, Senior Additional Director Mohsin Ali Molla, among others, were present.
Then, The ODI captain visited the products’ display center and also several production units like refrigerator, compressor, air conditioner, television etc.

After the visit, Mashrafe said, “I am amazed witnessing Walton factory. It’s great experience for me. I never thought that such a giant electronics factory was set up in Bangladesh. Different sorts of world-class electronics and electrical appliances are manufactured here with the combination of most advances machineries and state-of-the art technologies.”
A group of Mashrafe’s fan, who are working in Walton factory, also gifted him a smart television.
